TrueLook Launches Universal Connectivity for Construction Jobsites with Starlink Compatibility

Universal Connectivity provides the flexibility to connect TrueLook’s cameras over cellular, Ethernet, WiFi, and satellite, keeping jobsites in view where coverage falls short

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TrueLook, a leading provider of construction cameras and jobsite intelligence technology, today announced Universal Connectivity, a new capability that provides construction teams more ways to connect TrueLook cameras across cellular, Ethernet, WiFi, and compatible satellite internet services, including Starlink.

As construction expands into more remote, off-grid, and connectivity-challenged environments, getting cameras online can be a persistent hurdle. Universal Connectivity addresses that challenge by allowing teams to choose the connection that works best for each jobsite.

TrueLook’s Universal Connectivity supports four primary connection types:

• Cellular: Turnkey, high-speed connectivity
• Ethernet: Direct connection to onsite networks
• WiFi: Fast, turnkey connectivity built into TrueLook cameras
• Satellite: Plug-and-play with customer-provided satellite internet services

For remote and off-grid projects, customers can set up their Starlink or other compatible satellite hardware, connect a TrueLook camera to the network, and establish live jobsite visibility.

The capability is already being used in the field. For example, TrueLook customers have deployed cameras using Universal Connectivity in the rural outskirts of Anchorage, Alaska, where traditional cellular connectivity can be limited or unavailable.

Because the same camera runs on any of these networks, teams can standardize on TrueLook across projects with different connectivity needs and reduce their reliance on cellular data plans where another connection is available.
